Who is responsible?
ROC Sales AB ("Redneck Engineering"), Västerås, Sweden, is the data controller for the processing of personal data on redneckengineering.se. Contact: cj@rocsales.se, (+46) 0702 822 422.
What we collect
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) processes IP addresses and request data technically necessary to deliver the site securely. Logs are kept for a short time for operations and security.
- When you contact us. If you email or call us we process the information you provide (name, contact details, your message) to answer and follow up. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
- Statistics and marketing — only with consent. If you accept it in the cookie banner, Google's measurement tag (Google Analytics / Google Ads) is loaded. Nothing is loaded if you decline.
Cookies and local storage
- re-lang (necessary) — remembers your language choice. Stored in your browser, never sent to us.
- re-consent-v1 (necessary) — remembers your cookie choices.
- _ga, _ga_* (statistics, only after consent) — Google Analytics cookies used to understand how the site is used. Expire after up to 2 years.
- Google Ads cookies (marketing, only after consent) — used to measure ads.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. We use Google Consent Mode v2 — your choice controls what Google's tag is allowed to do.
The Pipeline app and your Google account
Pipeline (speeedfreeak.github.io/telexia-pipeline) lets you sign in with Google to back up your sales data to your own Google Drive. The app only requests the drive.file permission, which gives access solely to the file the app itself creates (telexia-pipeline-data.json) — never to your other files.
- Where your data is stored. In your browser (local storage) and in that file in your own Google Drive. The data is not sent to Redneck Engineering's servers and we cannot read it.
- Sign-in token. The access token from Google is kept only in the browser session and is used solely to read and write the file above.
- Reading screenshots (optional). If you use AI reading of screenshots, the images are sent via the account owner's Google Apps Script to Google Cloud Vertex AI in the EU (Frankfurt), are used only to fill in the customer fields and are not stored by the app other than in your own log.
- Google API Services. Pipeline's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The data is never sold, used for advertising or shared with third parties.
- Revoke access. You can revoke the app's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions and delete the file from your Drive.

Who we share data with
Vercel Inc. (hosting, data processor) and — only if you consent — Google (statistics/marketing). We never sell personal data. Transfers outside the EU/EEA rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
